Fiscal Responsibility

As a business owner, I have had to make difficult decisions and the tough choices necessary to balance a budget and keep a business operating.  I will bring this same approach to the legislature by supporting common sense proposals to reduce excess spending.

Taxes

I am 100% opposed to a state income tax!  I am also against raising a sales tax that is already one of the highest average combined state and local rates in the nation. I will stand up for small businesses that are already over-taxed and over-regulated.

My goal is to pass legislation that ensures the people of Maury County have more of their own money in their pockets at the end of every month. I know they will make better decisions in spending their money than beauracrats and politicians in Nashville.
